Shaykh Abu Yahya Aimen al-Kabir l Trustee and Khateeb
Shaykh Dr. Aimen Alkabir serves as the religious leader of the mosque and has devoted decades to scholarship and da’wah. His scholarly journey began under Shaykh Muqbil bin Hadi al‑Wadi’i in Dammaj, Yemen. A respected khatib and member of the Fatwa and Dispute Resolution Committee at the Taybah Centre. He holds a PhD in Economics with a concentration in Islamic banking and finance from the University of Dundee (2025), and has professional certifications in Shariah supervision and auditing. Shaykh Aimen has extensive experience serving on Shariah supervisory boards, providing Shariah‑compliant financial advice, and designing and delivering training programs on contemporary financial transactions.

Shaykh Muhammad ed-Denguir l Imam and Khateeb (AR/EN)
Shaykh Muhammad graduated with a MA in Aqidah, Faculty of Da’wah and Usool ad-Deen from Umm al-Qura, Makkah al-Mukarramah. The Shaykh studied with several scholars in Makkah including Shaykh Ali al-Ulayani, Shaykh Abdullah ad-Damiji and Shaykh Hasan Bukhari. Also in his time in Makkah, Shaykh Muhammad was heavily in Da’wah for over a decade. Currently, the Shaykh is enrolled on a PhD course at Umm al-Qura. Makkah al-Makarramah.
Shaykh Abu Hassan AlMokhtar AlTwaijeri l Imam and Khateeb (AR)
Shaykh Abu Hassan graduated from The Islamic University in al-Madinah an-Nabawiyyah in 1418/1997. He furthered his studies by attaining a MA from the Faculty of Sharia, Malaysia. Now, the Shaykh is a regular Imam and Khateeb at the Masjid and also teaches in the Madrassah.
Ariff Olla l Masjid Admin, Lecturer and Khateeb (EN)
Born and raised in Leicester, Ariff has had a long relationship with the Masjid and is an active member on the English section. He has also spent time in Riyadh studying at the Imam Muhammad bin Sa’ud University and under some of the major scholars there, including a very strong and close relationship with Shaykh Sa’d ash-Shathri for over seven years.
